Jr English - Group work on parody projects.  Presentations will be on Friday.

AP - Heard presentations from Ilkka and Josh.  We also studied the "Villanelle."  Do a google search of the villanelle and study them.

English 9 - Began listening to Mrs. Hurlbert read "Number the Stars."

Spanish II -Studied pg 254 "Adverbs."  Began working on the open book quiz.  Also discussed cooking partners.  Tara and Andrea will be partners and will be making a side dish.

Spanish I -Get part one vocab from chapter 6 in your notes.  Complete exercises 1,3, and 4 on paper on pg 198-199.

    Assignments for Tuesday

Jr.English  - Huck Finn final discussion packet.  Do the portion of the packet for chapters 32 - 43.  Have the packet completely filled out upon your return.  Be ready to test on Weds.

English 9 - Finish "Night" with journal.  Bring your metaphor/simile analysis sheet with you.

AP - Book reviews start Wednesday.  Be ready to present.

Spanish II - Continue with double object pronouns - today we practiced them with commands.  Do the following worksheet and create a journal that uses double object pronouns in commands.

Junior English - No reading assignment.

English 9  - We did discussion using the "Night" packets - Chap 3-5 - Fill in the discussion questions. On page 19 of the packet, choose one of the three projects at the bottom.  We will work on that for Friday.  No reading assignment for today.

AP - Finish the book for Tuesday.  Multiple choice practice test on Friday

Junior English - Finish Huck "Funn" for Tuesday.  (Test is Wednesday) Be able to discuss symbols, themes, and round characters for Wednesday's test. Ask me to print the flip chart from this activity when we get back.

English 9- No assignment.  We watched Elie Wiesel's speech from Thursday at the Capital in Washington, D.C. I will offer 10 points extra credit if you go to the ushmm.org website and copy and print Obama's speech at the Day of Remembrance and provide a summary of his speech.

AP - We played lit term poker.

Spanish II - We began learning the gramatica 1 section of chapter 7.  Study the red box on pg 250.  Do ex 6-8 from pg 250-51.

Spanish I - Complete pg 59-60 in your packet.
